    The food here is amazing. Plattsmouth is fortunate to have Kit whipping up her clever concoctions for their town and its visitors. Everything is so good here, you won't even be able to decide what to try. But whatever you choose, it's bound to be tasty.

    Still there and still going strong. I would encourage Kit to audition for Top Chef, were it not for the fact that I want this cafe to stay right here. Am forever spoiled for creme brulee anywhere else.

    Run Don't Walk: I happened onto this jewel while staying at the Arbor Tree Farm in Nebraska City and headed out for a drive.

    My sister and I were looking for a coffee and pastry place and found The Chocolate Moose Cafe in Plattsmouth.

    We opened the door onto a world of tastes, textures and creativity that was amazing. The best crab cakes (this includes Old Ebbitts Grill in Washington, D.C.), divine cucumber mousse, terrific sweet potato chips and elegant desserts. The service was individual and wonderful provided by a dedicated staff. Owner/chef Kit Ostaseski is the Iron Chef of Nebraska and could charge twice the reasonable prices! Kudos!!
