Great Western Bank

I have been banking with Great Western Bank for about 7 years and I have never had a problem with them. They are extremely friendly and always offer assistance when needed.

When you are depositing a check into your bank account, 100% of the funds are available immediately. Most banks you have to wait a number of business days before the funds are available.

The one time I had a problem with them (I ordered new checks through them and didn't receive them when I was told I would) they reordered the checks and express delivered them at their own cost.

I couldn't be happier with this bank.

I only use this bank to deposit money and then transfer it to USAA. They don't pick up there phones. I've tried two of their numbers, which covered all the numbers for the branches in Omaha and Bellevue.

Great western bank isnt the best bank around but Im sure its not the worst. They gave us hell about small things (ex: losing debit and credit card, unauthorized transactions on debit card, reordering debit card) but for the most part, its okay. The ATMs are far and few sometimes and their charges are pretty high for out of network ATMs. Good- has a visa debit card Bad- has mostly incomptent workers. The free checking is nice. Checks from the bank are pretty pricey. Stayed with them for about 2 years till I moved.
