User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI just had the beef brisket "burnt ends" and back ribs yesterday. I like sweet sauce with a bit is spiceyness and this place has it. The burnt ends were somewhat "burnt" but mainly the inside part of the birsket. They were tender and melted in my mouth. A good smokey taste too. The sauce was geat! I flew in Friday for the weekend and just drove past this place and wanted to try it. I have been to places in Kansas City. Two of them Gates and Smokehouse BBq were terrible. Their ribs were real salty and I dont like the vinegary tangy sauce as both those had. the sauce was sweet and just a little spicey but not too much. The sauce I had was the mild, but they do have medium and hot.I also at at Ruby's in San Antonio and Albuquerque and they too have that tangy sauce which I think ruins the taste of the meat. I do recommend this place. It is small and has few tables but the staff is very friendly and will help you decide on what to order.This is not a chain like some of them. why dont you try it?
