About:Flora and fauna from around the world cover 75 acres just south of downtown Omaha. Visitors do not have to be experts to appreciate the beauty. This attraction focuses on educating both children and adults. First launched in 1982, the site now features the Robert H. Storz Family Rose Garden, an arboretum and herb garden. A children's garden offers additional activities.

    Diverse Plant Experience: Lauritzen gardens has something for everyone. There is a wonderful nature trail where one can see deer and other forest critters. The rose garden is exquisite! The Founder's garden is a great place to see Hummingbird moths in the Fall. The Japanese garden could use some finishing...it seems like someone forgot it was there. Each season promises new perspectives. Highly recommended for flower enthusiasts.
