Nu Trend Dry Cleaners

Not a great deal, but I've got one.: They entered my items and told me the total. It was so different than what I was expecting, I asked what was up. They had input my shirts as dry clean instead of laundry. Nice try and yes, the $1.75 is only men's shirts. I finally found someone reasonable up the street (Neighborhood Dry Cleaners). My wife's and my shirts are just over $2.00, heck, even Hyvee is like $2.35 or something.

I realize that everything gets more expensive over time, but it sure seems like some of the dry cleaners in the area have gotten way out of line. A friend of mine took a pair of pants to Fashion Cleaners the other day and they were $8.95. Ouch. I told him I just paid $4 or something at Neighborhood. Give 'em a try.

What a rip-off: I went in there today because they advertise $1.75 laundered shirts. However when I went in with my shirts, they wanted to charge me $4.50 each (to launder and press only) because they were women's. These were just plain button up dress shirts with no frills. I asked the woman why it was so much more expensive, and she said "Women pay more." I was furious, and I will never return. This is unethical and they know it.
