can go to any dealership in town and pay a fair price. I can go to almost any dealer in town and get my car fixed. I can go to almost any dealer in town and get the vehicle I want. I can not find people anywhere as nice as they are at H&H. I went to H&H last week (for the first time) and I was not even out of my car yet and I was surprised. I have been looking at places where the over zealous sale guy is practically climbing in my before I even get my seat belt off. I got out to look around. As I walked towards the Malibu's I glanced into the service area and I received a wave from someone (he looked like a mechanic). I got over to the vehicles I wanted to look at when I was approached by Mr. Mertz. I do not recall his first name but I chuckled after he introduced himself; I was thinking about âFred and Ethel Mertzâ. Mr. Mertz was very upfront and told me that he was new at the dealership. He did not seem pushy and unlike most other dealerships, he listened and seemed to actually care about what I said. As I looked in the vehicle, he showed me the features mattered to me. It was refreshing. I did not get 200 features tossed at me (most that I don't even care about) just the ones that mattered to me. There were a few things he did not know but he took note of them and said that we will check that out once we get inside. We never made it inside though ( told my boss I had a doctors appointment⦠I had to get back to work) Anyways, He spent quite a bit of time with me even after I told him I am not 100% ready to buy right now. When I do decide to purchase my new vehicle, even if I have to pay a little bit more, I am sure it will be with H&H and Mr. Mertz
Not so sure: I went there to look, just to look at a new Monte Carlo. I have a 2001 and wanted to see the new body style. I don't know why a person cannot just walk on a car lot to window shop. But part of that is my fault, they offered me a test drive and well, why say no? Next thing I knew I was being shown the dealership and being made a deal on a car I wasn't really interested in, wrong options for me. But they were friendly enough, maybe a little slow. I get a car on the X plan through my job. I don't think they understand what that involves and could not understand I have paper work to fill out before I buy. But sales are slow and I looked like a good customer. Which I am. I stopped at another dealer and they offered me a lot more for my trade, so I think when I am really serious I will go elsewhere.
SLOW, NOT FUN, and UNFRIENDLY: Totally dissatisfied with my shopping experience here. These guys advertise that they are "Fast, Fun & Friendly". They were "FAR" from that.
The salesperson was grumpy and acted like he was dis-interested in what my wants & needs were. I was a "buyer" but it didn't take long for me to figure out... I needed to go shopping elsewhere.
If you are in the market for a car - I'd suggest SHOPPING ELSWHERE too!
