Clarion Hotel Omaha

We've stayed at Carol Hotel in Omaha, NE several times because we have family in that town and we are always very pleased with the accommodations. Each time we stay 3 or 4 nights and have just returned from such a trip.

Granted this isn't a 5-star hotel but we have found it to be above average for its class. The personnel are cordial and helpful, smiling as though they're genuinely glad we're there. The complimentary breakfast is far beyond what one would expect: A wide array from scrambled eggs, pancakes to cereal. All served in a clean and fresh serving area.

Our room was comfortable with free in-room coffee service, ironing board/iron, small fridge, hair dryer and complimentary morning paper in lobby. Beds were made with top sheets encasing the blanket with a choice of soft or firm pillows.

Even the landscaping and indoor plants look well-attended...the sign of a caring staff and innkeeper.

The property is conveniently located to shopping areas and restaurants yet off the main drag so that traffic noise is not an issue. Very easy access to Interstate I-80 for arrival and departure. All around an excellent experience here each and every time we have stay there.

We stayed at this hotel yesterday before flying to Pittsburgh. A very pleasant non-smoking room (rare to find these days) and spotlessly clean with a decent bathroom and basic toiletries which were all that were needed before our flight. Front desk clerks were helpful and friendly. Buffet breakfast was perfectly acceptable and the beds were very comfortable, rooms good size, everything clean, nice friendly and fast check in, the kids liked the hot breakfast, they enjoyed the pool also, and I liked the safe feeling with good security. The price was perfect with hot comp FULL breakfast the next morning. Convenient to fast food, airport, and shopping. What more could you ask for? This is where we always stay when we go to Omaha and we have been very pleased with this hotel.
In summary highly recommended compared with other places at twice or three times the price.

My husband and I stayed at this Hotel Carol during our visit to Omaha, NE. The hotel was easy to find, very well kept, had every convenience we needed or could ask for, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. After we checked in, the person on duty, John, called our room to be sure everything was to our satisfaction and related that he would be available should we have any questions or needs. We will definitely stay here again.
