| About: | Pizza is made only one way at this joint: a thin, hand-tossed crust, a touch of tomato, plenty of cheese and your favorite toppings. Pasta and meatballs are another favorite here. The menu also features sandwiches and prime rib, along with salad covered in Fred's own Italian dressing. Sports fans can follow the day's events on televisions scattered throughout the restaurant, while a full-service bar quenches their thirst. Be prepared for a wait on Friday and Saturday evenings. |

The most unrespectful staff EVER! or at least one person of their staff. I just got off the phone with a woman from there and i don't think i've ever been so disrespected in my life. I work for a large, well known company in Omaha and I called them to place an order for Monday, (today is Friday). I thought it would be respectful to give them some notice that i would be wanting to place an order for over 100 people in advance. Well, the woman i spoke with told me that they only take orders the day of and they open at 11. I asked her if i could give her my order today, so that i wouldn't have to call in on Monday at 11, for an 11:30 pick up of over 15 pizzas/salad & Breadsticks. She up'd her tone and said "i'm sorry, was i not clear, we only take orders the day of and we open at 11. I kind of feel bad writing this review because i know it's probably just that one person that has that terrible attitude...and i don't even like their pizza, but i thought it would be good change up who our company gets pizza from. Let's just say my company now knows what kind of people they have working there and we will not be ordering from there anymore. Especially when there are so many other choices of companies/people who are a lot more accomodating to their clients. I would not wish this kind of service on anyone.
Drinks are strong and worth the money!!!! Good prices, good food!!!Wait is worth it. The wait staff has been there for years, great people!LOve it!!! Our large group has always been accomidated.
I'd say the best pizza in Omaha.: They have authentic New York style pizza. Their pizza is awesome, their appetizers are good. The pasta is OK. The service is great. If you are in the mood for great pizza, this place I would recommend. I would say if you're in a casual mood and don't mind eating in a sports oriented eatery, then it's a good place for eating at. I would say they have the best pizza in Omaha if not then one of the best at the very least. If you're anywhere near 120th and Pacific or Regency or interstate 680 highway and Pacific street exit and you want good food, stop in order takeout if you want the best takeout pizza. It's located about 1 block east of 120th street at Pacific street on south side of Pacific street. I've been there several times and I would go again next time I'm in that area of Omaha(unfortunately it's a little over a mile from someone who hurt me though so I probably won't make it out there much though).

If that is the case why didn't you include your name and company name. Your review would have more credibility if you would be so kind. Service is important in the food service industry. When you hide behind the internet, one has to think twice in this day and age.
I am sure that who you work for has ground rules, and that is just one of theirs. Big Fred's has always been respectful to me, and I am sorry that you were offended by their rules of the game. but to get upset because you thought you were doing them a favor by giving their order a couple of days in advance, is wrong. they are not college educated people, nor are they paid as such, so accept that that rule is because they have experience in the food industry. I hope you forgive them and give them a chance again. they make a great Peperoni black olive extra cheese pizza
I think that her complaint is completely justified. Just because one person has a great experience at a restaurant does not mean that everyone will. I would feel the same way had I been treated with such disrespect, especially since her company planned on spending a large amount of money.
