User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsGreat local hangout for decent Omaha-Mex. Yes..I said Omaha-Mex. Most restaurants in Bellevue and Omaha change the tastes of their cultural favorites so locals will visit more often and Netties is no exception.
The Atmosphere: Netties is great for just hanging out (extremely close quarters with all of the other patrons as the dining room is probably less than 600 square feet) with your neighbors and its decor is super simple. The bar is just a bar with no real frills (but you can eat at the bar if there are no dining room seats available). Family friendly and they will push tables together (recommend calling ahead) to accomodate larger groups.
The food: Cheese, cheese, and more cheese! If you like cheese then you will absolutely love Netties. The chili seems to be one of the most popular dishes but I suggest the 'potato and pea' enchiladas or one of their open 'toads' (like an open chimichanga with lots of stuff inside).
Parking: Small parking lot so if its full then you may just want to try eathing there some other time because there is nowhere else to park and there is probably a line waiting to be seated inside. The wait can be anywhere from 10 to 30 minutes.
Overall: Family-run restaurant with decent food and open atmosphere. If you really like their food they prepare 'to-go' orders quickly.
