My wife and I are from Lincoln but needed to make a quick trip to Omaha last night. I decided to take her to Goldbergs for a great burger. We both love Bleu Cheese so like many other places, we ordered their bleu cheese burger. The service was good and the burger tasted very good too but...If it's bleu cheese that you like....you will be dissapointed with this one. it had a Blue cheese sauce on it and after we were both finished we still hadn't tasted a hint of Blue cheese.. I told the waitress about it and she appoligized but I wanted her to know so she could convey it to the staff for an improvement in the future. All in All it's a good place to get a burger but like the commercial I found myself saying " Where's The Bleu Cheese"
This place has typical bar atmosphere but just a little nicer then the usual. I had the rueban sandwich and it was served with pototoe chips. It was not very good. The cigarette smoke seemed to be everywhere including the nonsmoking area.. It was better than average overall but I will go down the street to Marks restaurant next time.
Outstanding sandwhiches and finally a bar that serves frozen mixed drinks ie: daquiri's. Very friendly people and atmosphere
