This is the best sushi bar ever, I just moved here from St. Louis, and visit family in San Fran often, I've been to some sushi bars!lol The sushi is amazing, it's fresh, the rice is perfect, and the meat smells fresh, looks it and the texture is right, same with the veggies, and the staff is very nice. It's crampt, but to me it feels like my vietnamese aunt's house with her family there, homey and crampt, it isn't bad, just not American. U have enough room, you aren't bumped into at all and it's very clean. I hope they expand from the hole in the wall store they are at now, it's a little hard to find if you don't know the area. My fiance had gotten the sake, and said it was really good, he was a bartender for 4 years, if that gives anyone any hope. The edamame was delicious as well as the green tea, not bitter or over powering.
Lunch was not good that day: I try new places for suchi & this was one I had heard great things about but was not impressed. The service was horrible, the waiter seemed so dirty. The place was dirty, the rolls were not rolled right & I had some stuff in my water.
Affordable and mouthwatering!: Wasabi does sushi right, I am always looking forward to the next time I go. The staff is really good with first timers, they are very patient and will help you order what you want. Wasabi is the reason I am a sushi lover!
