    Had the medium pepperoni pizza today for lunch. Not good. Pepperoni is cooked under the cheese, so it doesn't get crispy and is rubbery like the cheese. Sauce isn't tangy at all - very bland and tasteless. I'd honestly prefer a $3 to $5 Freschetta, Digiorno or California Pizza Kitchen pizza from the store over the $10 I just shelled out for a medium at Sal's. Won't be going back.
    Update: gave the rest of my pizza after 2 pieces to my dept. at work. The consensus is: "It's not good. There's no flavor to it. It's just blah."

    Our family LOVES Big Sal's pizza - a MUST whenever we are in Lincoln. Great value, especially Friday nights. Our son is a senior at UNL, and it is his favorite place to eat!!

    Definitely the best pizza in Lincoln. As everyone else has stated, you cannot go wrong with their Friday special!!
