User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsI went to Thunder head 02/09, we had a party of four and the atmosphere felt good. The service was friendly and great at first, suggesting free tasters of brews. We ordered two calzones, a french dip, and a salad. My calzone (around $5.00) which I added chicken and mushrooms to, ended up being + $3 for mushrooms and +$2 for chicken, that's fine but the waitress didn't mention this and it was cold with a humorous lack of filling. Same as the other calzone ordered. The french dip had one slice of roast beef in it, we sent it back, and was informed they ran out that is why we were served a "bread sandwich".
Not one apology. Took only half off of the french dip.
The beer charges were way wrong on the tab.
There were two tickets and one had the full amount on it.
A really great, fun night, ended with sending back our two bills, 4 times total to be corrected without any apologies.
Food rating = awful
Beer = below average

User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsKearney's own Homebrew!: Nothing beats an Ale at Thunderhead after a long day. I usually go alone, but it can be a good time with friends, too! Their kegs are the best, and usually don't last more than the night!
