    Great place for the small farm town experience!: Beth's is a breath of fresh air. As a visitor to the area, I was feeling a little out of place. One night at Beth's for one of the Saturday night dances she hosts was enough to make me feel like part of the community. I had a Blast! Although Benkelman is out in the middle of nowhere, it is well worth the trip to go and check out this hidden wonder. The food is great. I'm not a big fan of hamburgers,but the friday nite Prime Rib is Excellant. The beer is cold and reasonable. And the place is full of character. If you are passing through be sure and stop by. It is a great place to pass an afternoon. And tell Beth I said Hi and I'll be back as soon as I can so keep my spot at the bar Open! Oh and be sure and call ahead and ask what is going on because the dances are only every other weekend and I heard that they stop them for awhile in the summer because of harvest and other summer activities. And she doesn't serve Prime Rib every friday. But there is a Pitch tournament on Tuesday evenings that is a treat to watch. Enjoy you time at Beth"s

    Super People: I've not been there for 15 years, but my father owned the place some 40 years ago. From the reception that I got on the phone, I can say that Benk still has some of the best people in Ne.
