User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThe best of the best: This place is deffinatly the place to go, whether your looking for a good sandwich, anything bbq'd, burgers, and especially steaks and prime rib.
The waitresses are always great, as is the food! Taste of Texas is surely my favorate place to eat in McCook, Try it, youll love it!!

User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI eat there every chance I get !: I have to drive 90 miles each way to feast on the prime rib specials on Friday and Saturday night, but even with the high gas prices, it is a trip well worth the money. The folks at Taste of Texas, are real down home people and they make you feel like family. I have never seen anyone leave this place hungry. The steaks are great and the BBQ is the finest for hundreds of miles around. From the moment you walk in the door and catch a whiff of that slow cooked flavor, your mouth begins to water and rightly so. If you are careful and have enough room left for dessert, they offer some home-made pies that will make you blow any diet you are on. Their Iced tea is always perfect and plentiful and their bar serves your choice of fine adult beverages. It is a great place to take a date for a special occasion and it is even a better place to put on your regular schedule as part of the true American diet. I love Taste of Texas BBQ ! You will too !!
