One of the worst experiences I have ever had. Obscene delays, ZERO communication, not delivering the order as promised, and incredibly belligerent attitude. Paul, the owner, flat-out lied to me about having the product I ordered, having started 'cutting' and when he could finish the order. I lost tons of money on my project due to the delays caused by Paul's and the fact that they never once communicated. Based on the previous reviewer's experience, it seems as though they haven't improved their business at all and it blows my mind that they can still exist. They managed to lie to my contractor and try to sneak in less material than he ordered and far lesser quality. SHADY BUSINESS. STAY AWAY.
Horrible Customer Service: Ordered granite counter top, never showed up to install on pre-determined day. I had to call to find out what happened and they gave me a story of : it was on the truck but cut wrong, we were going to call you. I was in a bind because my previous counter was already removed. Finally they installed.
Wanted a backspash added later, they made the appointment to install and again never showed up on the day. I had to call again to find out what happened: they said they were backlogged. They made an appointment for a week later, in the morning. I called at Noon on the day it was supposed to be installed and they said the appointment was for the afternoon. I called at 4pm they said: it was on the truck but it was the wrong color, we need a couple more days to make it out of the right color. I canceled my order.

Writing as owner of Paul's Marble Depot - This hurts. We are ofen not big on communication, I confess. The nature of the business does not always allow us the luxury of being splendidly responsive at the drop of a hat. My apologies to Mr.or Ms.CTSEEK. Just the other day we took a delivery of tiles after long delay and it turned out the lot was not up standard...you know, natural stone... We have tried very hard to not have any one say that we lied. I work here from 7AM to 7PM and we are very hands on. It is very likely that the contractor did order less material (we face this all the time). And if that is so, then delays are entiely likely : To find matching lot, to obtain a small quantity of tiles or slab is not always as easy. If Mr.or Ms.CTSEEK is willing to reveal his or her identity, even via private communication, the truth will emerge. Till then, grain a salt strongly recommended.
