it was 1987 or 1988 when i moved next door to frank gollas jr.,it was when i was in 8th grade,he(frank) worked at el charritos for his father and he owned a hvac bussiness, which i helped him in the summer months, yea i was the kid under the house with the spiders and snakes, still have night-mares about that stuff, anyways back to frank,we would work all day in the heat installing air conditioners and then we would go to the resturant ,i washed dishes and prepared food, hot days in the sun ,hot nights, with hot scalding water for the dish's,and the enchaladda sauce is hot and yes every order is made FRESH every order so you have to dip the tortillas in the hot sauce, then u hand to roll them individually with meat and cheese,my fingers hurt so bad, but let me tell all that read this , IT WAS WORTH EVERY MINUTE OF IT! the pork chillie, the tacos, enchallades. that was 20 yrs. ago and i have since travelled alot, meet a lot of people and ate a lot of food and honestly i can say i have not found pork chili of your level anywhere that i have travel'd . frankie i miss you., your friend michael d bramwell
Surely the best enchiladas in town! Probably the best I've ever had. In my opinion, the rest of the food is pretty typical. I like my hot sauce a little hotter. The decor and building are the biggest issue... pretty run-down.
I think this place is great. most the time when you go in they know you by name. and that is always nice. frank and his crew work hard on making sure everyone is satisfied if not then you need to tell them so they can fix it. but i love the food. good job guys :)
