The RIBS have no equal - from Texas, to Memphis, to Chicago, to St. Louis, to Arkansas - I have tried them ALL (and more besides) since first having the ribsat Texas Bar-B-Que Company, and NONE* compare with the velvety-soft, rich, melting, tender, sweet/tangy charred and smoky wonderful ribs here (tho other places have better sauce - try Luling City Market in Houston)- these ribs have set my standard for awesome. I can only hope they serve them in Heaven, too.
It is surprising that places like The Joint (smoked dry-rub covered in spices but without the melting tenderness of really good ribs) or Voodoo Barbecue (which is just nothing special) appear to be more popular than this place, because their ribs absolutely do not compare.
As for the rest - sides are good enough, atmosphere is Texas-tastic, and the service is friendly-fine. Though I've been there many times, it's hard to remember much about the place besides the ribs, because they are so incredibly delicious that they overpower every other sensation.
Just, eat the ribs. Nothing else matters.
*(actually, this is only partially true. I had ribs at a Mexican restaurant in Texas, once, that were as good as this, but different. Not "barbecue" style. And I've never EVER found such good ribs at another barbecue restaurant, anywhere, ever.)-

I'm from Texas and I know BBQ. This is exactly what you get at any hospital cafeteria in America. The brisket was dry and lacked the smoky flavor and "ring" you expect with "real" BBQ. It was run thru a meat slicer like cold cuts. All the slices were of identical thickness (thiness). Real BBQ is thick and hand sliced. Reminded me of MRE's. Amazing this place is still in business.

The food is amazing! I tried it tonight based solely on the great reviews I read on yahoo and I couldn't agree more. The service was great and the staff was very friendly. The portions are hefty but surprisely the prices are not. If you are in the mood for good bar-b-que then Texas Bar-b-que Company is place to be! Last but not least the sauce is the bomb!!!!!
