| About: | Since first opening their doors in 1965, Drago's restaurant has continuously been the premier name for oysters in New Orleans. The secret to their success is owner Drago Cvitanovich's famous Charbroiled Oysters, which are cut in half, thrown on the grill, and served with Parmesan Cheese and, of course, lots of lemon. If oysters aren't your thing, they also offer genuine Maine Lobster for a very reasonable price, and a wide variety of seafood based dishes that will make you forget about your favorite steak houses and barbecue joints. Stop into Drago's in either New Orleans, or the original restaurant in Metairie for some of New Orleans' best seafood, and that's saying a lot! |

Excellent restaurant and the service was ok too! I had the lobster ravioli and it was the best!

Drago's is not to be missed! The seafood is outstanding...be sure not to miss the charbroiled and raw oysters! Even if you don't like seafood, there is a wide range to choose from on the menu! The bartenders are sweet , coutious and attentive!

I agree with all of the above except that she left out 2 important facts! The first is that Drago's in Metairie has just opened up for lunch on Saturdays and the 2nd is that Drago's has also opened up a new reataurant downtown in the Hilton. Both restaurants have the same great menus and atmosphere! Two thumbs up or 5 stars for both!
