went here for the 1st since they renamed themselves social city. didn't have anything but the ice tea. service was great and ice tea was average. sat in the fire pit and enjoyed the atmosphere.
**addition:when my friends and i left, there was a young woman doing surveys and she handed out 2 for 1 coupons. just looked at it today and the coupon expired April 17th but I went there on May 3rd. cheapskates!
I went there this past weekend with my girlfriend thinking the place was going to bust my budget, but it didn't. The atmosphere was nice and the food was great. The etoufee and the Ricochet fish are highly recommended.
The valet service was neat as well.
The only thing that put a damper on things was the bill. Even though I was paying for me and my girlfriend, the waitress had the gall to ask for a double tip: she split me and my lady's meals into two separate bills and asked for two separate gratuities. I didn't appreciate that and only left one tip...slightly lower than I would have given.
But if you are in the New Orleans area, you have to pay a visit to Sweet Fire & Ice.
Horrible! The wait was long. The service was terrible. The food was so-so. The drinks were just ok. Our waiter sometimes forgot we were there. Took about 20 minutes to get drinks & extra 10 to get our appetizers. Just awful. I'd rather go to Ruth's were it's a little pricier but they treat you right.
