Visited R&O's a few years ago and thought they had a good shrimp Poboy. The weekend of 9/14/2009, I went to R&O. First, I asked if they had boiled shrimp and crabs. Waitress said yes...shrimp are $25/lb! What? I asked about getting a 1/2 lb. The waitress said they don't serve less than a pound. Good Thing they didn't, saved me from being ripped-off! I passed on the boiled shrimp. We asked for (3) boiled crabs..."Dry & Over cooked". The waitress took them back. My wife got fried oysters...they were pretty good. I got fried shrimp, the shrimp and the batter were under-cooked. The best thing we had was the fried onion rings about an 8 out of 10. The (4) bottled beers we bought where $4.50 ea. Can't afford to drink much with your seafood here. For lunch (Fried Shrimp, Fried Oyster, Onion rings & 4 beers with Tip) Total: $72.00 This is a bad experience I can't afford.

Good food, decent service by 'down home' staff. be prepared for noisy place with no detail on cleanliness. Kind of like Sunday dinner at a family of 8 house.

Great food: I love R & O's for the food. The atmosphere is definitely "neighborhood" and noisy.
