It has been the temporary venue for the New Orleans Hornets. The center opened in 1999 and since then has been hosting all the major cultural festivals like concerts and other shows for the area. The center has a main arena that can seat approximately 2,000 people and has entertained with a number of events. The center also has a 10 area ground area that hosts concerts featuring artists like Tracy Lawrence, as well as the Mardi Gras Paintball Open among other events.
