Lombardi's Bar & Restaurant

I love pizza so I have been to most of the area pizza joints. I went to Lombardi's twice and both times was not pleased. The first time the pizza was burnt and the waittress seemed annoyed that we wanted another one so we waited half an hour before the 2nd pie was brought to us.(I think they were punishing us for asking for another one) The second time they forgot to bring our appetizers but they were still on the bill and we had to ask for a new check and nobody even apologized for not bringing the appetizers, not good! We won't be going back anytime soon.

Great Pizza and Steaks too: Their thin crust pizzas are terrific, my favorite being the Shrimp Scampi pizza. My next favorite meal is is their NY Strip steak, a bit pricey at a little over $20, I usually get it Giambotta style. I wish the bar prices, especially cocktails , didn't cost so much, $8 for Manhatten or Martini, for a neighborhood bar. But the food is what you come for. Can be very noisy on a Fri or Sat night. NO AMERICAN EXPRESS ACCEPTED.

loved it!: been only once, and i fell in love with the food. one of my top choices.
