I was trying to find the name of this place because I'm going back to New Orleans. My family took a swamp tour and they tour people said that we should go to this restaurant. It was very mom and pop local type restaurant, so you know they know how to cook some goood Louisiana cookin. Man, I had dreams about how good the food was, the gumbo, jambalaya, and this shrimp appetizer... so good, I'm definitely going back!
And like others said, it had a GREAT view of the Bayou. Couldn't ask for anything more. Love the name too. -

hands down the best restaurant in Lafitte!! Good food, frindly service, and a great view right on the bayou!! I recomend the Boutte's shrip supreme for all you shrimp lovers. Grilled shrimp in a butter sause. VERY GOOD!!!
