It is easy to wander lost in menu after menu of traditional New Orleans seafood. But why wander when you can seek out a destination. That destination should be RioMar. Chef Garcia takes the finest local ingredients and gives them a Spanish Latin flavor unlike any other in the Big Easy. Take my advice and take an adventure to this hidden treasure. Try the mussels and chorizo, don't miss the baked oysters, try pork the way it was meant to be cooked, and please drown yourself in the zarzuela. If you dare to have the tres leches you will never look at dessert the same again.
There is also a wonderful wine list, many by the glass, that features wines from Spain , Chile and Argentina.
RioMar offers some of the finest food in town with a relaxed keep it simple atmosphere. At RioMar its all about the food, and that is the way it should be.
