Lake End Park

I will agree with most of you guys, by saying the campground is peaceful, and relaxing. But this pass weekend we had 2 sites, for all family. It consisted of 8 adults and 5 children. All the adults got off early so we could enjoy the area. We were all aware of the rules, and we did follow them. But for some reason or another the ground's sercuity decided to pick on our areas. All the kids were in the campers sleeping. All the adults were outside, talking and enjoying each others company. We knew we had to be quiet, so we would not wake up the kids, and it was before 11:00 pm (quite time). The sercuity gaurd said we were making to much noise. There was no way we were making to much noise, because we still heard the music and the talking from across the street, and three doors down, nor did we wake up the kids inside the campers. So we all said good night and went into the campers. The next day we all enjoyed our day. Kid swam, played in park, rode the golf cart with an adult, rode bikes, fished, and met new friends. Until night fell, and here comes the sercurity gaurd again. He came and parked his truck by us and turned off the lights, and the engine. But to his surprise, we sat there quiet and listen for him. I could see if we were a bunch of roddy people but we were not doing anything wrong. He rode around a few more times just looking at us, and trying to spoil our fun. So as you could see from my review, we love the Lake End Park, but the sercurity need to learn how to leave people alone.
As far as the area, there is grocery stores, and discount stores easy to get to. There is a little seafood place to buy crawfish, and etc. right down the rode. It really is a GREAT GET-A-WAY SPOT. Just be sure to be QUIET!!!! AND WATCH OUT FOR THE SERCURITY GAURDS!!!

Peaceful area to relax, have the kids swim, entertainment section is away from camper parking, canoe rentals, and boat launch. Area is close to gas station, hospital and grocery stores. Very nice to relax at anytime.

hometown campground: we now live in laf .when we go there ,we see most of my family and friends,,it is so pleasant and still a very nice memory
