A real place for real food. Lots of locals in an intimate setting. these folks care about you and their food.
Very tasty food! Not sure if phenomenal is the word for the atmosphere but up-beat, warm and cozy. Good wait staff, prompt service and great gumbo.
the food was amazing. the atmosphere was phenomenal. the pigeons were a little annoying but they were cute. the service however, was horrible. i was in a party of four. we were there for two hours and never got a refill the only time we saw our server was when we made our order, our order was delivered, and when our check was ready. since our service was pretty poor we left a smaller tip than normal. as we were leaving our waitress approached me and asked where the rest of her money was and then told me that my friends and i can go to burger king with our money. (all of her explicits were left out.) all in all. the poor service overshadowed the otherwise positive experience.
