NOLA. New Orleans Shorthand for a return address with a hurricane swirl.... the strength of the storm by which Emeril Lagasse has taken his adopted home New Orleans with a whirlwind of fresh adaptations of classic Creole cuisine. Located in the French Quarter, this hip & fun restaurant's decor is almost as playful & sophisticated as its menu. Come & see how Emeril Lagasse breathes new life into the New Orleans cuisine he loves. Although walk-ins can be accommodated, reservations are highly recommended. Our dress policy is casual to business casual with no tank tops for men. Michael Ruoss, Chef de Cuisine, and David Travis, General Manager, are dedicated to providing you with that memorable dining experience.
i havent eaten a his resturants but ive bought his cesar salad dressing. it sucks. we throught away our salads and the whole new bottle of emerials ceasar dressing. look at the reviews, they look like paid employes rating his resturants, lol.
Wow! The food was fantastic. The appetizer of chicken wings was completely unique. Who comes up with this stuff? I had steak and my boyfriend had veal. Both were so tender and well flavored. I'm a simple girl and I thought the menu seemed a bit pretentious. I was wrong! The only thing that might have been better than the food was the service. I wanted for nothing. It is a bit pricey, but I say splurge and enjoy how the other half lives! Thanks NOLA.
I read up on NOLA before my 2nd trip to NO and knew to make a reservation far in advance. My fiance and I came here and it was out of this world. I don't know what odor the last reviewer was talking about and I can't defend the restroom because I don't use public restrooms. I can definitely defend the food and the service. My fiance is the pickiest eater I know. To the point where even if the food is amazing, he says, it was good...but not THAT good. After 3 years of being together, I finally heard him rave about a meal and that was at NOLA. From start to finish, everything was ace. The stuffed chicken wing appetizer was to die for and I had the most incredible veal chop EVER. It was so delicious that I didn't even feel any remorse about the fact that it was veal. And the dessert? Words can't describe it. The waiter was so on point and his personality was a real pleasure. The only problem? We didn't come here sooner in our trip.
