Mariners... Yes We ate there when we worked at the University.
I am a CEO of a billirds manufacturing co and do a bit of traveling and seem to know a bit about spotting good eateries!Recently we had the extreme pleasure of trying the gumbo, fried portabellos and several good entries and gotta give Mariners 5 stars.. And got knock out service from Courtney who just wouldnt quit making us welcome ask for her, shes got it going on..

My whole family LOVES Mariners. The service is extremely slow, but the food is WELL worth it. Eat there when you have a couple hours to kill. Order the fried cheese with marinara or the fried mushrooms as an appetizer. You HAVE to try the crab & artichoke soup...best in town. And they are well known for their fabulous half pound burgers. (split it...its too big for one person after soup & appetizers)
Good food. Burgers, Soups, Surf and Turf, etc. Nice daily lunch specials. Don't go there if your in a hurry. Otherwise, the food is always good.
