We have dined here several times, both in the inside dining room and outside deck...enjoyed both settings (subject to the weather, of course). Food is very good (everything I ordered was delicious, and I don't order the same thing twice), the service very attentive and friendly, and the overall atmosphere with the music and surroundings very relaxing. The best compliments I can give about Palmetto's are that 1) we will be going back soon and 2) it is my first choice to bring family members and friends.

Had a wonderful dinner at Palmettos after a recommendation by the owners of the B&B we were staying in. The place is set on the bayou with a nice deck on the back to enjoy a before or after dinner drink.
There was great music by a local artist playing in the main dining area. Note if you want that room you should call and reserve early. We ate in the back which was better for us to talk but some would likely prefer the front room.
Food is out of this world good with a very nice presentation. I must note that we got a eggplant dish that was to die for good, just can't remember the name. I have had better service but it was not really bad, just think a little more attention (drink refills) would have been nice. -
