User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI notice that the description indicates that the existing reviews may be irrelevant as a result of Katrina. I can assure you that description is wrong.
There were five people in our group. All five were thrilled with their burgers. These were not run of the mill burgers. They were both creative and very well prepared.
The selection of beers on tap is fantastic. The wine selection is well above average for a tap room.
This is not a bar for teenyboppers. The patrons are a wide range of ages but they are adults. They are also adults who like to have a good time. The place is loud in a good way.
We did not get to stay for the live music but the selection of bands that will be appearing over the next two months is first rate.
As for the comment about the smoke in one of the 2006 reviews, the bar is now nonsmoking.In
fact, before 9:00 PM it is definitely kid friendly.
In short, great food, great bar atmosphere, live music and no smoke. Columbia street Tap Room is a great place.-

awesome food. I would definitely suggest this resteraunt if you love burgers. Great chilli burger!!
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsgreat times yes.: yes we did have some great times there--especially after when we got home. ya know what great music always did to us. i laugh everytime i remember we woke up the next morning and our clothes were all over the floor starting at the front door all the way down to the bedroom. wow what a night. i love the 5 finger discounts. great times. that place just gets me going. just not with the same person. but it is just as great now maybe even better than it was then. keep up the great work columbia street tap room. the only thing i can say that i never did there was eat. who cares about eating when ya having that much fun!!! why waste the time to eat when you can drink and dance and meet cool new people to hang out with?????
