The best food and great service. I have been a fan for 6 years now
My favorite restaurant of all time, and I've been to many. It's always a treat to go here. Just make sure you make reservations at least a week ahead of time for weekends, otherwise you're not likely to get in. They have the best crabmeat au gratin anywhere. The Trout Nicholas, which is not on the menu and must be asked for, is also outstanding.
The food was very, very good but very, very heavy on the butter. The service was outstanding, probably the best I've had in years. The crab claw appetizer was delicious (with lots of butter). My portion of fish was too large to finish although some meals had more appropriate sizes. Sal stopped by to check on the meal and was very nice and approachable.
