About:Founded in 1986, Abita Brewing Company, in its first year, produced 1,500 barrels of beer. In 2005, Abita escaped serious damages caused by hurricane Katrina and resumed back with a bang! Today, they brew over 62,000 barrels of beer and 3,000 barrels of root beer. The brewery is the 31st largest brewery in the U.S. and are distributed in 37 statesand all of this with just 46 employees. Their Brewpub is open regular hours serving fried seafood favorites and other casual fare. The profits from associated merchandise goes to the Louisiana Disaster Recovery Foundation. Abita just gets bigger and bigger day by day and they keep adopting the practices of other regional craft breweries. Take a tour around this massive brewery and you would be delighted with this unique experience!

    listen the wait staff is pretty good but i do believe that the waitress that served me was really nice fast she had a sweet smile the food hasnt been the same since early feb i guess there was a change in the kitchens crew but still pretty damn good still oh and that waitress her name is andrea i think she is just about the best one there

    The food is just ok. It is a very cool place to see at least once. Nice atmosphere, good service.... But the beer is the only good reason to return.

    Ok..not great. ok: the food is ok. Be prepared to wait for mediocre food. the wait staff is average. The beer can't be beat. the beer is a treat.
