User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI used to drive 75 miles just to eat a Landry's Special or have a delicious bowl of their spaghetti. The service is good given they are usually ALWAYS busy. Whether it's take out or eat in, I have NEVER been disappointed with them.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsOkay! I'm not much on writing reviews much less reading reviews, but here goes. I have eatin pizza all over the country like Joe's in NY, Lou's in Chicago etc, but when it comes to Pizza Village there is nothing like it! Great Pizza if you love a thin crisp crust that is probably just as good without any toppings. Toppings, well their unique to Southwest La. Personally, my favorite is the "Dupe", they have other local favorites as well as your normal pizza toppings. Prices or reasonable, the beer is always cold, and service "Is what it Is? Look the bottom line is this place is always slammed, so if your looking for wait staff to sit and chat with you, your at the wrong place, but I assure you, your order will always be right, your glass will always be full! A North Side tradition!! I've tried the other guys, who say there pizza is the best in town, but my vote goes to these guys!! Ca Cest Bon!
User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsShrimp salad was a bit disappointing. Not all the lettuce was shredded and the shrimp were rather small. Workers were not too friendly, nor appreciative of my business.

They are not famous for their salads but for their pizza, hence the name Pizza Village! As for the waitstaff, they are too busy to chit chat. If you noticed, the line to get in was probably outside the door so that shows you how popular they are and how delicious the pizza is.
ok in JCG's defense...yes it is called PIZZA village...however it has been voted best salad in lafayette for years...The pizza is good....but there is no reason to be voted best salad in lafayette! All the salad is is cheap iceburg lettuce olives boiled ham and shredded mozerella cheese...the dressing is nothing special just your standard dressings...that said in be_dazzled's defense-the business IS extremely busy and when you work in pizza you get some mean guests and a lot of guests all at the same time...so please everyone give them a break. BOTTOM LINE: Good Pizza(Not as good as new york or deano's pizza in lafayette) but good however save your money and skip the salad!
