User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsMy husband and I went to Cafe' Vermilionville for a romantic night out. We couldn't have asked for a better time. The food was excellent, from appetizer to dessert. The service was just as good. There was a fire going along with candle light. The restaurant itself was a delight to be in. We will definitely go back! Highly recommended.

I've been here 5-6 times and really only thought it was great once. When friends say they want to eat out in Lafayette I'm always ready to go because we have some of the best restaurants anywhere. When they say they want to go to Cafe' Vermillionville I tell them that I'll catch up to them next time and take a pass.
This place is WAY over rated, and Way over priced. There are 10 other restaurants in Lafayette where you can get a nice meal for two people for far less money.
My ratings: 5=superior 4=excellent 3=very good 2=good 1=poor 
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsA top-tier place: Men, wear a tie and ladies a dress. This is a place for a very special night out. Elegant, classy, and quiet. Food is absolutely great. We've been several times. Expensive but great for showing off.
