Dishonest bully: My car was towed off of the Atchafalaya Basin bridge within hours after it broke down. When I attempted to retrieve my personal belongings out of the car, the tow company owner got incredibly beligerent and hostile and refused access to my vehicle. I had to get the State Police involved who called him to tell him what the law was regarding personal posessions. When I got there to retrieve my belongings, he again tried to deny me access and then bullied and hectored me the entire time that I was in the impound lot. It took a major part of my day and MANY phone calls to him and to authorities to get a very simple task accomplished. At the end of the it all, he refused to allow me to remove my license plate and I had to take more time off of work to go to the Department of Motor Vehicles to report the plate lost/stolen. He had the nerve to tell me that the law didn't apply as he had many State Troopers who were friends of his and that he could do as he liked. This is a very dishonest and mean individual. Steer clear.
