COLD FOOD & LOUSY SERVICE. and when we complained, the manager came to our table and answered his cell phone and continued a conversation completely ignoring us. Later we tried to contact the owner and were succesful. However, he had no reason to believe a customer of his lousy manager. The only good thing is that they had Abita Light on tap! Will never return. Very sad especially since this place was always a stopping place for Sunday lunch returning from an LSU game. Try the seafood place at Baton Rouge's Bass Pro Shop...It was quality food, great service and less pricey than Prejeans.
Ate there for lunch today. Ordered the Cajun rack of venison, it was delicious and ooooh it melted in my mouth. The side dishes were great to. Some of the other dishes seemed pretty pricey though, but then you're paying for the ambiance as well, which Prejean's definitly had. I wish I had came later when the live music was playing. But I'll be back!
Everything is fabulous. The breakfast is even great. My husband and I were surprised to pop in there for breakfast one Saturday morning to find three Cajun men playing and singing. The pancakes were exceptional. The eggplant pirogue is my favorite.
