If you want mexican food don't go here. This has got to be the worst food in Lafayette, LA. Tasteless garbage and the service was just as bad as the food. So to wash it all down I figured I'll order a margarita it was the size of a shot glass and expensive. The lines were out the door but whoo knows why it was aweful!!!!!!!!!!!

Second time eating at LaFonda's. The first time I went, the food wasn't good. I thought maybe it was just a bad day for them, so I gave it another chance. It was worse. If you want good Mexican food that's seasoned and authentic, go to El Tequila's on Pinhook. LaFonda's is more of a "watering hole" and social place, in my opinion.
