User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsThe food is excellent if you dont mind the mentaliy of the waitresses.....i've been 3times in my life and each with yrs spand inbetween. The waitresses hollar back and forth at one another while they are waiting on you ......and its not in a funny way..its in an uneducated, making good cajun restaurants look bad kinda way........i dont go there because of them.

The Boiling point has the best seafood in the Lafayette area. True Cajun cooking, not the tourist food New Orleans passes as Cajun! True Cajun food is not so spicy to where you cant taste the seafood like New Orleans serves. Ca c'est bon!

To the person who posted that they had the best crawfish ettoufee, you either have the wrong place or they stopped selling it. We went there tonight and they didnt have it on the menu and i asked our waitress about it and she said since she has been there they have not sold it.... The food is OK. My husband got the fried catfish. It was awesome. I got the boiled shrimp and they were overcooked. My daughters got the chicken fingers and they were OK too. Not seasoned very well. If i ever go back, i guess i will have to stick to the fried foods or boiled crawfish!
