Please beware of the emotional unstable used car sales manager, he will be a rude person as if he were a school age child with no manners.... caught him in a lie and was checking out the the truth on a truck that I was about to pay "cash" for, as I was wondering if a dealer charge was valid, and if the truck had something wrong with it as it only had 3700 miles and they said the people traded it in cause the color of the seats (but took a $4000.00 loss)--"I must had my stupid hat on this day..... and he stomped around in service area grabed papers out of my hand and Quote"I'm not gonna sale you the truck I changed my mind".... looks like GM is begging for bail out, but this dealer must have a secret washington needs to know about--(Hum???) I wonder if they teach rude behavior at this dealership?...... On the good note the service department is GREAT!! the best people you would want to deal with!!!!!! Maybe I'll email washington for a small bail out for this used car Manager for a class in "MANNERS 101"........
Beware of unexpected add on charges! After purchasing a car from them I found out they added a $495 window etching charge. Window etching is a well know scam by less reputable dealers to jack up their profits. It is of little or no value and cost about $20 to perform. I did not find out about this charge until the paperwork cleared my credit union. When I reviewed the numbers I could not get them to agree with the price we agreed to. I only had the loan document which did not have the sales details. I went back to the dealership and got a copy of the sales agreement (they had neglected to provide me a copy) and found out about this charge. Admittedly, I was stupid to not go over the numbers more carefully at the time of purchase. Most dealers are cleaning up their act and dealing more honestly with the public. A few still try to stick customers with "added charges" for paint protection, window etching, or other useless additions to the sticker price to disguise the price you really pay for the vehicle. This dealership is apparently still employing some of these tactics that were so common 20 years ago. If you think you are getting a good price---watch out!
