User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsA gem! We were just passing through and hungry. Looks isolated but down-home and sophisticated at the same time. They were open at 3PM when most places close between lunch and dinner. We had the fried chicken. She offered to cook us fresh pieces of dark meat but advised that it would take 21 minutes. We had to hit the road, so we took the less-fresh white meat which was perfectly juicy, tasty, and authentcally homestyle.
Really good thick fresh homemade cole slaw. Menu ranges from fancy to down-to-earth. Polite and charming staff.
I have to think of reasons to be back in Morganza!
