User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsWAY OFF: Las Palmas (LP) is a middle of the road mexican restaurant that leaves the diner wanting more. LP is very weak on flavor and spice, and their margaritas are lemon water mixed with a little low-level tequila. LP does have some good points: It is fairly inexpensive, the portions are above average and they have mastered rule #1 in the restaurant business-LOCATION. LP seems to always pop up in front of theaters and trendy places. All in all, an average mexican joint at best, but a novice would grade it higher.
