User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsNever Again: I have been completely dissatisfied with Expert Sound; From start to end, they left me wishing I had gone somewhere else.
Brought my truck in for an alarm install; I was assured by several store reps and store owner that they were a licensed Audiovox dealer; Audiovox says differently; there is a distinction between dealer and using a distributor--there are plenty of competent audiovox installers that arent audiovox dealers, but they had to lie about it. Then when I needed a licensed DEALER to activate a telematics module, they couldn't do it. When pressed on it after the fact, they ignored inquiry, and claimed they lost documents I faxed to them; when I brought them the docs in person, they said they didn't want to do it. It took over a week for them to install the alarm, when other shops do it in a day or two. After waiting a week, The wiring job was total trash, and I had to take it back more than once for shorted connections (mostly door locks). Now, over a year later (outside of their labor warranty), I find they have spliced into other items in my truck that they should not have, especially without using fuses, and it has caused severe damage to my vehicle. Anyone can set up a stereo with a huge sub, but not all stereo shops can do alarms right; this is an example of a shop that should not be allowed anywhere but your radio, and maybe not even there.-

they we great: i've had very good experiences everytime that i have been to expert sound. the owner is very good in what he does and i would recommend everyone who needs something electronically hooked up to go to expert sound because they have the best prices and best environment.

This review is unhelpful and false. Expert Sound has never lied to me about anything. Expert Sound is the only shop that tells me the truth about my products. They also are able to do anything you can want or afford. The person writing this review must be from another shop trying to get more business. It is a shame people are so hatedful. God does not bless people that are that way.
that review is correct... today i went into expert sound just to get tweeters install yeah....3 hrs...and then when i got into my car i found stuff missing like my key to get into my apartment...it was located within my cds...so i called they acting like something wrong with them...when i said i missing me key to my apartment..(looks like a credit card)then they was playing one of my cds in the background that so was missing out of my car...Ummm??? then lied and said its for a worker...never again...black ppl and business is a no no...sad they had to steal from me...and i told them i hope they enjoy it...and they know who i am if they read this
