User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsGreat BBQ Flavor - Extremely Consistent Quality: Jay's is a Baton Rouge tradition and the clientele blends all social and economic boundaries...the meats are great...lean and smoked...but what really makes the great food even better is the sauce...a closely guarded recipe that gives the food a whole 'nother dimension...get it on the side for dipping or on your poboy...the potato salad is homemade and delicious...the fries are cooked when you order them...simply superb fare. Always consistent too.
