User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsPower and Grace is a wonderful dance studio in the Shreveport/ Bossier area. The entire program is terrific. The recital was a wonderful display of local talent and fun for all involved. The girls are very talented young dancers. The instuctors are commited to the entire development of children - from their character to dance education. I would strongly recommend this program to anyone interested in dance!!! Great recital

My daughter has taken here for ten years, and I LOVE the program. The teachers are very positive and encouraging. We have dancers of all skill levels performing. The choreographers are nationally known. The girls have a lot of fun, and learn discipline.
User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsHorrible Dance Recital: I just attended this school's dance recital and was disgusted. The dancers had no real training and just shook their rears the entire time. I think parents should re-consider this school as a choice for their child's dance education.

I disagree, this is a great dance school and they invite faculty from LA, Houston, Pennsylvania who have been in major ballet companies and even on Broadway, so I feel that their dancers have had extremely awesome training!!! I love the owner even more!! She is an expert business woman with a HUGE heart and spreads all her high energy and love to all her students! I LOVE POWER AND GRACE and I hope everyone chooses this dance school so they will get out of it what me and my family has!! :)

I have a question not a comment. I want to ask about diversity of the students that attend dance classes. Looking at the pictures I dont see much ethnic diversity. Is this a well rounded environment?

very well rounded and who ever is going around yahoo going to every dance studio in the area writing bad reviews needs to stop, wait my bad SDA needs to stop writing bad reviews about all the other dance studios, has any one noticed that all the other dance studios in the area EXCEPT SDA gets a review just like this one? but to lovinmom yes the dancers are very well rounded, ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, modern, contemporary, pointe, hip-hop...

I totally agree. My girls have also taken there for a total of over ten years. I love the program as well. The area has not seen a production like the Lion King and the recital was amazing!!! love the studio, the instructors, and the dancers. The girls do have alot of fun as well!!
