User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsBarton Homes what a joke! Don't buy from them!!: Once they get your money they are finished with you, no customer service at all. DO NOT GIVE BARTON HOMES ONE PENNY OF YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY!
It has been 1 year since our home was delivered and we still haven't gotten our steps! Barton Homes would not even come out and look at our mobile home once we started having problems. Barton Homes said if they fixed anything it would void our warranty! Yea right what warranty?? We paid for a 5 year extended warranty but Barton Homes will not give us the policy or tell us who the insurance company is!! I have turned Barton Homes into the BBB & into the La Manuf. Housing. If you want a mobile home don't go to Barton Homes in Bossier City La. If you do go to them, (GOOD LUCK YOU WILL NEED IT!) make them give you copies off all papers that you sign. Take my word for it if you do not get them before you leave, you will never get the copies. No you don't have to take my word for it. Just check out the La better business bureau or better yet call the LMHA & ask them if they have had any complaints on Barton Homes.
I wish I knew then what I know now.

Finally JUSTICE for them. I just hate it took 56 complaints in one year, before the La manuf Housing would do anything about them!!

This person is right. There is a certain salesman(young guy) there that will drop you like a hot potato when he gets his money. Don't buy from there your dream home will become a nightmare. I promise you. Don't trust anyone there!!!!!! The salesman never contacted us and didn't even show up for the closing. Go on down the road!!!!
Yes I know him, his name is Jason & he called me a liar when I asked him about upgrades I had paid for & not gotten. You don't have to worry about anyone else buying from Bartons, they went bankrupt about 3 months ago. Poor things they lost their license to sell in La & texas. I sure hope I never run into Jason again!!
