User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsThis was the worse buffet I have ever eaten at. It may be free with slot play for thirty minutes but losing at the slots just to eat there was definately not worth a red cent! I have eaten better buffets at the worst truck stops than the slop served here.

Wow! This is a fun place to gamble. The casino is bright, noisy, and exciting...just what one would expect at a Harrah's Casino. The Racetrack seating is clean, and plenty of room to move around without running into others. Plenty of restaurants up stairs where the betting is on the races, and downstairs The Buffet, and FudRuckers Famous Burgers. At this casino/racetrack, on the ground floor, near the esclators there is a place for kids to play video games/pin ball games. Feel safe at La. Downs with plenty of security around even if you are a single female. On the weekend I was there they had a live band performing outside. Also, bands do perform in the Lounge area. The new hotel is wonderful. It is not attached to the casino but either walk or take a shuttle to the Downs. It is only across the parking lot. They have valet parking at the Casino/La. Downs. I believe you will make a wise choice in visiting this Hotel, Casino, and Racetrack.

From now on, when my daughter and I drive 4 hours to hit the slots, we will only head to Harrah's. I dropped my money slip and the management spent over an hour tracking it down and eventually gave me my money. This is amazing to me since it was all my fault. I appreciate that kind of treatment and putting the customer first. There is a wide variety of machines and they all work!! We have always been more than happy with the food and they mix a good drink. The associates are very nice and I could not recommend it higher. Thank you Harrah's, your help and patience with an old lady sure made my Christmas merry.
