My boyfriend and I first visited Chianti in 2004 for our prom night. We were very impressed and have continued going at least twice a year (Valentine's Day and our anniversary) since then. I always make sure to recommend it to other people and tell everyone how fantastic this restaurant is. I always make sure to eat light during the day if I know I'm visiting Chianti that night so I can get apps, dinner, and dessert because everything is delicious! The staff is always friendly and the tables are dimly lit and spaced far enough apart for a little bit of privacy. This is a 5-star establishment in my opinion and would recommend.
I went to Chianti's for my anniversary. Very romantic. Atmosphere is great. The food is very delicious.Every bite is full of so much flavor. I would go back for every occasion. The best part is dessert. You have to eat dessert. I had the chocolate mouse bre'lee , and my husband had cheesecake w/ fresh strawberries. The cheesecake melts in your mouth and the chocolate mouse is the best chocolate you will ever put in your mouth. You have to try Chianti's atleast once !!!
The Best Italian Food: Chianti Restaurant serves Northern Italian food in an upscale environment. The main dining room is dimly lit, with candles and flowers on each table and white tableclothes. There is usually a live jazz band in the bar, The Green Room, on the weekends, and you can choose to eat in there if you want to be close to the music and bar crowd. The quality and selection of food is excellent ranging from their specialty, veal, to several seafood dishes, and a very small selection of pasta dishes. The snapper is incredible. They also have an excellent and reasonably priced wine list. My favorite part of eating there is the dessert. Their desserts are all made in house by their pastry chef. My favorite is the Double Chocolate Mousse Cake, but the Mocha Cake is a close second. They also have very good after dinner drinks, and a lively bar area.
