The food was delicious and the atmosphere is tight, but a lot of fun. It's quiet enough for a romantic date... and at the same time it's perfect for eating (and visiting) with friends. The prices are no worse than Chili's, Olive Garden, and other restaurants of that caliber.
Went here with Erika and The kids and absolutely loved it. The service was great, food was really good we had the spaghetti with aurora sauce which is spaghetti sauce and alfredo sauce combined, had your choice of one or two huge meatballs and the serving was very large.Hunter had the lasagna and they have great desserts, very good tea,I had wine and they serve beer also.Very friendly atmosphere can't wait to go back.Next time I want a tye dye tshirt with Monjunis on it and the other customers were very friendly as well.
Not a bad place. In Ruston it is in an attractive downtown location in an older building.
The food is actually good, and the Italian Spagetti gravy sauce is a unique item that is special to each italian restaurant.
People seem to like a sweet sauce, and I guess that is why Prego has dominated the mass produced bottled sauce products. I didn't detect that Monjuni's sauce was all that sweet, but it is homeade. I even bought a bottle to take home. I found the Shrimp Aurora to be very good with an excellent Alfredo like Sauce. They even gave me a side of the tomato sauce to sample with the dish.
Outside of unique sauce, the PoBoys and a couple of crawfish dishes, ti was like a lot of italian eateries. If you happen to be near one of the 7 locations in cities like Monroe, Shreveport, Baton Rouge, and Ruston...I'd give it a try.
