The Yahoo description needs a bit of an update. The restaurant no longer specializes in authentic Italian cuisine, that is a very misleading statement. since over a year ago chef Todd Barrios has inspired a culinary awakening turning this once little Italian joint into a southern Louisiana influenced delight. Every weekend you will find Barrio's specials which feature magnificent combinations varying from traditional French classics with a local flare, to his own creole/cajun inspired creations composed of bold dynamic flavors hosting nothing less then the best possible ingredients. The restaurant seems to take pride in their slogan of "no need to dress up, just come hungry" and with this idea in mind they have created a casual atmosphere than is truly too humble for the dishes they serve. Props to their magnificent kitchen staff, short ticket time and perfection unlike any other kitchen in Natchitoches.

3/23/08 On March 17th, the food was excellent. Ambiance wonderful. UNFORTUNATELY WE WERE DOUBLE BILLED. Make sure that this does not happen to you. AND I am unable to talk to anyone at the restaurant. GACourtneyLee
